This Week at Emmanuel Church

FAMILY CHRISTMAS CRAFT DAY: Tickets will be on sale this Sunday for the Family Christmas Craft Day Sunday, December 7th from 3-6:30 PM in the JAV room.  You can purchase tickets on the patio in between services and in the JAV room before the first service. There will be over 20 different crafts to choose from.  Dinner will be served.  This event is for families with children 4 years old through 5th grade.  The cost is $10 per family.  If you would like to help at this event please call Brigitte at (818) 843-0900 Ext. 106.

CHRISTMAS CONCERT TICKETS:  Tickets will go on sale beginning this Sunday.  The concert dates are Saturday, December 13th at 7 PM and Sunday, December 14th at 3 PM and 6 PM.  Tickets are $5 and can be purchased after both services or, you can call the church office and leave a voicemail for Billye Johnstone telling her how many tickets you want.  She can be reached at (818) 843-0900 Ext. 105.

SPORTS MINISTRY - Children’s Ministry will be starting up a new Sports Ministry in the spring.  To begin, the focus will be on baseball.  If you are interested in coaching or would like more information, there will be a short meeting immediately following the 2nd service on November 23rd in the Green Room.  Mark Letts will be directing this program. 

BABY SHOWER – All women of Emmanuel Church are invited to a baby shower for Bekah Rutledge, wife of our High School Pastor, Dave.  The shower will be on Saturday, November 22nd at 2 PM in the Lower Auditorium.  Bekah is registered at Babies R Us and Target.

MEN’S PRAYER BREAKFAST - Our next Men’s Prayer Breakfast will be held  Saturday, November 22nd at 8 AM in our downstairs auditorium. Men and boys of all ages are welcomed to attend!   COLLEGE AND CAREER GROUP - Our College and Career Ministry meets every Sunday at 7 PM at the home of Dan and Tina Ziegler (1813 N. Catalina in Burbank.  This week Randy and Connie Karman will be teaching the group on relationships.  All who are in the college or career ages are welcomed to attend this warm and inviting group.  For more information contact Tina Ziegler at (818) 843-2720.   COMMUNITY THANKSGIVING SERVICE - The Burbank Ministerial Association is sponsoring a Community Thanksgiving Service on Sunday, November 23rd at 7 PM.  The service will be held at the First Christian Church located at 221 S. Sixth St. in Burbank .
