Welcome to the Children's Ministry Department!
Children’s Ministry is a dynamic ministry that partners with parents to teach the truths of scripture to their children and to provide them with the best possible environment for learning, growing and becoming completely committed to Jesus Christ.
We are excited to serve the needs of your family and seek to maintain a secure environment that is pleasing and welcoming for you and your child. We want to assure you that your child comes into a clean, friendly, and caring place where he or she will be both safe and loved.
WE DO THIS BY:
- Loving the children.
- Living in the ways of Jesus.
- Teaching the Bible and showing children how it applies to their life.
- Giving opportunities for children to grow in their faith.
- Giving opportunities for children to minister within our church and beyond.
- Building relationships with and supporting parents.
- Giving opportunities for parents to help in our Children’s Programs.
- Giving parents and children opportunities to play, learn, and serve together.
- Using the S.E.C.U.R.E. Policy, Serving Emmanuel’s Children Under Responsible Entrustment, which provides safety guidelines that promote an atmosphere of security and low adult/child ratios (click for more info).
