“Hearts” deals with the variety of heart conditions I came across in my search for a relationship.  And while I may initially have desired an opposing heart that was unrealistically perfect for me, I also, from time to time, looked for a heart I could fix or change, possibly in hopes of being the hero in that person’s life.  But instead of concentrating on the shortcomings of other’s hearts, the author of this song turns inward, learning that the only heart he really desires is the heart he can receive from a gracious God. The images from my art hopefully help tell the story.
